Preparations

We got home rather late on Christmas Eve after the excitement that was the Kaftan family party. But it was a must that we work in some standard night before Christmas traditions, even though my bedtime had long come and gone. First (and this is a new one) we all put on the jammies that Meema went to painstaking lengths to pick out. (She was still disappointed with the fit of hers, but my organic cotton Hanna Andersson pjs were amazing!) Then we put out treats for Santa and Rudolph (I didn't show the other reindeer any love- sorry guys). I put out my tww cookies and carrot, figuring they get enough snacks at other kid's homes. And then I poured him some milk. After that, we read "The Night Before Christmas." Then I snuggled into bed and fell fast asleep. There were visions of sugarplums dancing through my little head......

Comments:

my mommy regrets that she didn't buy a set like ours so all 3 of us would match on Christmas Eve. then again that might just be a bit icky)
