Cookie Party

I love a road trip with my friends. On Saturday, we packed as many people and children as we possibly could in Mama's Focus and headed upstate to Meema's house. First, ine.we picked up Mama's friend Jessica in Hoboken and then went and got Chrystine and Stephen. How we fit an adult woman a two carseats in the backseat, I'll never know, but it worked. Then again, I wasn't the one wedged between two little boys with snack and juice demands. Sorry, Auntie Chrystine.
The occassion? Meema's First Annual Cookie Party. She invited us, my famous "girls" (Morgan, Courtney & Jessi), and her neighbor, Maddie (who also happens to be one of the sweetest 11 year olds ever). We donned aprons, listened to Christmas and decorated gingerbread cookies. Meema eve made us all a cookie with our intials on them! After we were all cookie-d out, we strung popcorn and cranberries. I made a necklace and then lost interest. The big kids seem to really enjoy this one. Stephen didn't really participate in either of these activities, but he did like Meema's refrigerator toys. It was a very fun and festive day. Ho-ho-ho!
