More Kids, More Fun
Much to my delight, Meema (dressed up as an adorable kitty, just as I asked her to) picked me up from school on Friday. I put my costume back on, picked Mama up at work and then went to Lucy's house for some Halloween fun. It might've been the greatest day of my life.Not only were my usual pals Lucy, Evie, Daniel, Greta & Sophie there, but I made two new friends- Nate & Thad, twin boys from Lucy's preschool. They have about 6 months on me and they were dressed up as Spider-Man and Batman, respectively, so I took an instant liking to them. It was nice to hang out with some big boys, especially ones that feel the same way about superheroes that I do. (Not to mention, check out this picture from Lucy's blog. Do I see Lightning McQueen jackets?!?)
It was a blast of night. We went out around Lucy's neighborhood like the cutest little band of Halloween buddies. I could barely contain myself! I spent most of my time trick-or-treating running from house to house with "my kids," totally ignoring M&D. Halloween gets more fun by the year. After we collected our candy, we went back to Lucy's house for some more partying. Us kids were pretty much left to our devices while the parents ate spinach dip and drank wine. Thank goodness for grandparents!
Daddy wanted to take me to see Aunt Lynda & Uncle G, so they got me to leave by promising me some more trick-or-treating back in our neighborhood. I was cool with that, but imagine my disappointment when I realized the "my kids" weren't coming with me. I think I cried the whole way home. But then I got to see Mick dressed in a lobster costume and got even more candy, so all was right with the world again.

You sure had me fooled!!! I thought "The Hulk" had come to my door!! That's why I screemed so loud when I saw you which you seeemed to love!! Scaring Aunt Lynda is fun I completely understand!!! I am so glad Mommy and Daddy were with you then I wasn't so scared!! Uncle G and I sure LOVE having such a FUN great nephew!!! We love you SOOOO much!!
