Pumpkins 2008

Every year of my short life, I have gone to a pumpkin farm in October for pumpkin picking. The very first year we were in NJ in the fall, we went to Conklin Farm. I wore a very cute pumpkin hat and matching booties and everyone giggled as I was propped up for picture on a bale of hay. Well, I'm a bit more interactive now and I love this fall tradition. We usually go to Conklin Farm in Montville, but this year we branched out a bit and headed down to Old Bridge to Cheesequake Farm Market with Uncle G and Aunt Lynda.

There were tons of people there! Unfortunately, you had to wait in a very long line to get on a tractor out to the patch, so we passed on that. But I still managed to find the perfect pumpkin and so did everyone else. I also went a pony ride, which was great, albeit very serious business. I did, however, get to do a lot of running around and playing and they had many spooky cut-outs for me to put my face in. It was a great opporunity to work my newfound "hamminess."
After we left, I was treated to a very delicious lunch of grilled cheese and fries (the Sponge Bob) at the West Orange Diner. It was a perfect fall day. Thank you Uncle G & Aunt Lynda!
PS- It was a good thing I was there. Notice how I helped Aunt Lynda out of the car. What a nephew!
