I've been meaning to mention that the whole reason I went upstate in the first place was because Mama went to see
The Police with Meema & Meema's friend, Peggy. (This is them doing a little tailgating.) I was told that a good time was had by all, even if Peggy did think the walk from the parking lot was a little far AND thought that they were going to see The Village People. Silly Peggy.
Anyway, while Mama was out rocking out with Sting and Elvis Costello (she wants to mention that they sang "Alison" together because she thought it was very cool), I was hanging out with Mama's friend, Jen and her boys. I'm not sure if I have mentioned them before, but it isn't the first time Mama has enlisted one of her oldest friends to watch me while she does something upstate. I always have a wonderful time because Jen has three really fun kids! Andrew is almost 8, Dalton is 3.5 and Ben is 1.5. They have lots of cool toys and like to watch the same
shows, so I couldn't ask for better playmates. The coolest part was that we met them at the
pool in Saugerties and we swam and played outside for a few hours. What a great time! Thanks, Jen!
Around dinner time, Peepa came and took me out for pizza (it was so very good)! Then, we watched the Yankees (just a little- I wanted to watch Thomas) and ate ice cream (something that I *just* told Mama about this morning). I'm always happy to see Peepa because he's fun & goofy like me and we have lots of adventures. What a packed afternoon! I hope Mama goes to many more functions in the greater Ulster County area because I have lots of fun contacts up there!
