We went to Evie's third birthday party this past weekend. I was thinking back and I realized that I have attended all of Evie's birthday parties. She's one of my oldest friends. Here she is when she turned one and when she turned two. I can't believe how much we've grown. Isn't it the coolest? So much has happened in the last few years. We've given up pacis, some of us are using the potty, most of us have siblings. I'm so glad we're all still buddies!

All of the usual suspects were there and even some new ones, which made it so fun. You gotta hand it to Evie's M&D- they sure find some cool folks to hang out with! It's so fun when the M&D's get along as well as us kids. I could tell that my own M&D were really having a great time. As usual, Evie's daddy grilled up some delcious treats and there were both child and adult beverages a-plenty. The outdoor toys were definitely "kicked up a notch" as well this year. I guess that's another perk to getting older. There was a Slip N Slide! And look at the cake that Lucy's mommy made. Did she do a great job? It was delicious!

It's no surprise that everyone had a really fun time. When we all get together, we always do. Happy Birthday, Evie!!
