Ricordi (Translation: Souvenirs)
Meema recently returned from a fun trip to Italy with her friends. I missed her while she was gone, but lucky for me, she came home with lots of Italian treasures for yours truly (including this picture of Pope Benedict XVI-ha!) Here are some of the things she brought back for us: a book about a gondola ride, trains that spell out my name, my very own Ponocchio toy, an Italia tee-shirt and "family" Rosary beads for me, Meema, Mama and Auntie Arlene. Oh and cookies. Lots of cookies. I wasn't the only one who got fun stuff, either. Meema bought Mama a gorgeous leather bag. I'm going to try my hardest not to get it dirty!
Of course, it's most important that Meema got home safely. But I'm not going to lie- the gifts sure were great! Grazie, Meema!
