Pleasant Indeed

If there were a day to hit the beach, Sunday was it! It was gorgeous and sunny, with no clouds in the sky and not too hot or humid. It was perfect.

Sunday morning, Gaga had to take a boating class with Uncle Erik, Aunt Lynda & Uncle G in Brielle, NJ. Mama and I decided to hitch a ride with them down the shore, drop them off and then go to Pt. Plesant for some beach fun. We got there at about 9:30, which is really the way to go. It wasn't too crowded yet and there was plenty of parking. The water was quite choppy and there were dangerous riptides due to Hurricane Bertha, so we couldn't go in the water. It was okay, though, because I made a little friend named Paul who was almost exactly my age. His M&D (and the nanny, Julia,- I'm such an opportunist, making friends with the wealthy) brought a kiddie pool and some really cool toys (CAT bulldozers. Need I say more?). So I just played with them all day! Smart, right? I did get close to the ocean later on in the day to dip my toes. It was very exciting- and cold!

Can you believe that we were on the beach until 4:30? It's a good thing Mama brought a nice big blanket and beach chairs for us (we have matching ones that I have deemed, "Mama chair" and "baby chair"). Thankfully, I was adequately sunscreened, so my tender flesh is still as pale as ever. Sadly, we can't say the same for my mother.

Comments:
Juju,
So glad you and Mommy met "the newly boat licensed threesome" on the boardwalk! I don't think I ever saw anything so cute as you and Uncle G on the "Crazy Bus" and "Roller Coaster"...Also seeing the joy on your's and GaGa's faces when you 2 were on the roller coaster was just too much!! We all sure had a fun time together on the boardwalk and I must say that in ALL the years Mama and Aunt Lynda have gone down the shore together I have never seen her SO tan!!!!!
xoxoxoxoxoxo
Love you!!!
Aunt Lynda
