Big Bad City Kiddie

I had an action packed weekend! It started off with a trip to New York with Mama on Saturday. Everyone knows I'm a big fan of trains, so in an effort to entertain me without spending a lot of money, Mama decided we would go for a PATH train ride. Wow, what fun. I got to buy the tickets, put them in the machine, walk through the turnstile... I didn't know you could have so much for $1.75! Upon arriving in the city, we just walked up 6th Avenue, making lots of cool stops along the way. First off, we went to a store called Sabon and got a hand-washing, complete with lotion. Mama and I sniffed all the scrubs before deciding which one to chose. She picked the Orange Ginger and I went with the Lemon Mint (AKA, the green one). It felt really good! After that, we hit up a NY staple- Mr. Softee, also referred to by me as "Mr Ice Cream Head." I could tell Mama was a bit disappointed that I chose the SpongeBob ice pop instead of a twist in a cone with sprinkles, but what can I say, I'm three. We also visited Mama's old dorm, went to the Farmer's Market in Union Square and went into a giant Barnes and Noble, the likes of which I have never seen. Oh, and Mama also made me pose in front of Xavier High School because there's something about the idea of me in a college prepartory school that gets her all excited. Maybe she wants me to be a Jesuit like Gaga.
