I'm sorry it's taken so long to tell everyone about my birthday parties! I'm lucky, I got have two this year; the first of which was held the day before my actual birthday at Gaga's house. It was a Thomas the Tank Engine themed party (you know my feelings). I think everyone had a blast even though it was hot as blazes that day (see the "sweaty children" picture above!) Even though it wasn't the most pleasant weather, most of my friends came and we played outside with bubbles, chalk and Play-Doh and we ate lots of pizza and candy. The Thomas pinata was definitely the highlight of the afternoon. None of us kids could break it, so Gaga had to step in and save the day. I had heard that candy would come out of it when it broke, but imagine our surprise when packets upon packets of SweetTarts and bubble gum fell on our lawn. We were all in such shock that we took one piece each and ran back to show our parents! It actually took some encouraging to get us to pick up the rest of the candy, however, I think that was more about our lack of desire to clean up than it was about us not wanting candy. Also, kids our age still don't really want for much. We're good with a few pieces here and there. For now.
