Hot in the city

Man, it's been H-O-T! This is like nothing I have ever seen in my short life. On Sunday (my birthday party), Monday (my actual birthday) and Tuesday we experienced some crazy, record-breaking weather. I actually don't mind the heat, but Mama seemed none to eager to run around with me outside after work and Gaga & Uncle Erik came home from a day of installing windows looking rather, well... wilted. It finally seems to be cooling down, but man that was something. I haven't actually worn jammies in days and I've taken many a cool bath.
It's funny, because Mama was saying that the day I was actually born was an extremely hot day for early June in Buffalo. In fact, she and Gaga went to the hospital in the middle of the night and by morning, I was still comfortable in Mama's belly. The doctor told them that they could either go home or get some induction drugs. The TV was on and they saw that it was going to be 96 degrees that day and their apartment was very hot, I was officially overdue and Gaga was working as a landscaper. So they chose the drugs. My third birthday was very similar a day. Halfway through the day on Monday, Mama said the extreme heat and lack of electricity (see next post) made everything so unpleasant it was not unlike giving birth to yours truly. I'm pretty sure was exaggerating, but those are pretty strong words don't you think?
