the life of baby jude

Mama and I took a bit of a road trip on Saturday. We went way down south to see Mama's former co-worker and close friend, Beth, AKA "Auntie Beff." It had been far too long as we had all seen each other, so it was very exciting. Beth used to live up north by us but she met a very nice man named Stephen and they moved to southern Jersey. The live in Ocean City, which is an island right off of Somers Point. It was a shame that we picked one of the stormiest days in awhile to go see the beach and the boardwalk, but at least there wasn't any traffic!

Beth & Stephen have a really nice apartment right near the beach! When we got there, they took us to a marina and bought us a delicious lunch (Mama had the tuna, I had a hot dog- surprised?) After that we went back to their place and then walked over the boardwalk. They bought me some cotton candy and some tickets for rides, but there were two problems: I'm clearly not much of a rides kind of guy and the sky turned black. We got back to their apartment just in time. But at least we got cotton candy. For the next few hours, Mama & Beth got all caught up and I watched the videos I got from the library that day, ran around the living room and tried on almost all of Stephen's hats. I had a great time! They're really such wonderful people and I can't wait to see them again. Love you guys. Thanks for being so nice to me and Mama!
