Sunday was Easter! I have decided that this is a pretty fun holiday. It combines two very fun things- candy and getting messy. This year was first foray into egg dyeing and I have to tell you, I'm sold. Mama whipped up some very vibrant colors for me to dip my eggs in, even though I swore at first it was coffee (the only thing I ever see in these mugs is the hot beverage that everyone can't seem to live without in the mornings). I was having such a good time that I think I put every single egg in every single color about five different times each. I was tossing them in so fast, everyone else was rushing to decorate and dye just ONE egg. The end result was, well, about 20 dark brown/purple-y eggs. Maybe they weren't that pretty, but doing them sure was fun; even if it did mean lots lots of handwashing afterwards!
