"No Pain, No Tuna"

Where do I come up with this stuff? Lately, we've been teasing Gaga about him getting a bit chubby for the first time in his life. I thought I would help work him out a bit on Sunday by sitting on his back and making him do push-ups. Mama taught me all the good personal trainer lines like, "Feel the burn, Gaga" and "Drop and give me twenty!" However, my favorite was, "No pain, no gain," which I randomly turned into, "No pain, no tuna!!" The way my mother eats tuna, you *would* think it was a delicacy, so maybe that's why. The toddler brain sure is silly!
New Playground ( I mean... School)

As everyone knows, my old daycare closed. While I miss my old friends and teachers, M&D sure found a really fun place for me to go. I clap every morning when we pull into the parking lot. The toys are fun, the teachers are great, the food is delcious (Wednesday is pizza day- need I say more?), and guess what... there's a PLAYGROUND with toys galore! We're talking shopping carts, slides, cars, balls. Oh the excitement. Every morning before going inside I make sure to say, "Hi playground!" just to make sure it's still waiting for me after lunch. I can't wait to tell more stories from my new school. But in the meantime, how cool is this train table?

(Oh, and Mama wanted to mention that I'm also learning stuff there.)
Dipping Eggs in Coffee
Sunday was Easter! I have decided that this is a pretty fun holiday. It combines two very fun things- candy and getting messy. This year was first foray into egg dyeing and I have to tell you, I'm sold. Mama whipped up some very vibrant colors for me to dip my eggs in, even though I swore at first it was coffee (the only thing I ever see in these mugs is the hot beverage that everyone can't seem to live without in the mornings). I was having such a good time that I think I put every single egg in every single color about five different times each. I was tossing them in so fast, everyone else was rushing to decorate and dye just ONE egg. The end result was, well, about 20 dark brown/purple-y eggs.
Maybe they weren't that pretty, but doing them sure was fun; even if it did mean lots lots of handwashing afterwards!07 March 2008
See You Later, Bethlehem!
Many a moon ago, Mama used to stay home and take care of me all day. Well, when I was about 7 months old, it was decided that Mama had to get her buns back to work. I was promptly shipped off to daycare and was in the same one for over two years- Bethlehem Early Childhood Education Center in Orange. I had lots of friends there and I loved all the teachers; my favorite being my "girlfriend" Miss Gilma (see above). Well, the owners of the daycare lost their lease and the daycare closed last week. So that's that.A lot of my teachers and friends are going to another daycare close by, but Mama & Gaga decided to look into other options. They found a really great place (or so they tell me) near where Mama works and I'm very excited to start next week. I'll miss Ms. Thomas and Ms. Regine and Miss Gilma and all my little friends. But I'm excited to find new people to love. Apparently, this new daycare has music class and martial arts and Spanish lessons. Cool, right? I think I'm going to do great there! I can't to tell you guys all about it. In the meantime, for posterity, here's one last picture that Mama took. It's my final day at Bethlehem. Bye, guys! I'll miss you!
