Autumn in New Jersey

Last weekend was quite Fall-tastic for the Fords. As Lucy pointed out in her blog, NJ is quite lovely this time of year. Last weekend was no exception. The weather was just gorgeous and it was a perfect weekend! And since Gaga has his new truck for us to joyride around in, we figured we would do just that.
First on Saturday, Gaga took me with Uncle G and Aunt Lynda to a pumpkin farm. I picked out a really cool pumpkin and got my new favorite beverage-- cider. Gaga forgot to bring the camera, even though Mama made sure the battery was charged and reminded us twice. Ah, well. It's a shame, though, because there were definitely some cute shots of me posing on pumpkins with a lollipop that Gaga captured on his camera phone. Take my word for it, they're cute!
On Sunday, Mama wanted to go to a farm in PA, but it turns out that Lucy and Evie were going to Wightman's Farms in Morristown, so we decided to go there.
Of course, my parents are lazy, so we didn't get there quite as early as they did and pretty much missed hanging out with them. But I sure did have fun. We got to see tractors, hay mazes and we went apple picking! I didn't so much pick as saunter about eating them while Mama & Gaga picked, but it was fun.
After we left with our 20 pounds of apples, we stopped for lunch (we caught the Thirsty Turtle on, sadly, it's last day open) and drove around taking in the sights. All day Mama reminisced to herself about the first time they took me pumpkin picking, when I was just a four month old in a pumpkin hat and booties. Ah, memories.
Don't forget--Mama's middle name is Autumn and you went to a farm in NJ and the name of this blog is "Autumn In NJ"
Far out,man !!
