Grandpa Robo: Babysitter Extraordinaire

Last week, M&D were in a real pickle. They had a wedding to go to on Saturday and none of my local friend's Mommy's could watch me. Grandpa to the rescue! Not that he wasn't a consideration, but it seemed awful incovenient for him all the way down here for just a few hours. But Grandpa loves spending time with me and even though he had plans for that day, he made the trip down. I even wore my Yankee shirt for him because we like the same baseball team (don't tell Daddy, the Sox fan, I said that!)Too bad the Yanks got knocked out of the playoffs that very night. I hope my shirt didn't jinx them. Anyway, we had lots of fun. We went for walks, played with toys, ate snacks. Grandpa even humored me and played, "Hand the plant to whomever is willing to to take it"-- my favorite game. Ahh, that Grandpa and his infinite patience. The best part of the day was when I got snuggle in Grandpappy's arms and take a nap. We snoozed on the couch together for about an hour. Too bad Mommy didn't get a picture because it was quite cute. Daddy walked in before Mommy and I immediately woke up. Too bad Mommy was down showing Aunt Lynda pics from the wedding. A true Kodak moment was most certainly missed. Ahhh, well, I know there will be other chances!
Here's a picture of me making a funny face at Grandpa. He's just so fun and goofy, I find it all a bit shocking at first! I love you Grandpappy Robo! Thanks for coming down and spending the afternoon with me!

Also, here's a picture of Mommy, Auntie Marilyn and Auntie Annette at the wedding. Don't they look pretty? If you would like to see the rest of the pics, go here. It was such a beautiful day!
