Romeo In Green Cords

Last weekend was Valentine's Day! To celebrate, we had a huge sweets fest at school. We had a party that was filled with all sorts of treats (candy, cake, cookies, whipped cream, strawberries) and then we all exchanged Valentine's Day cards and presents. I was VERY excited to put my valentines together and give them out. And I got some really good stuff in return. Honestly, I made out. Mommy really has to kick it up a notch or two, I think. We handed out cards, stickers and M&Ms (which I still refer to as "Lem & Lems" for reasons that only I know and usually Mommy thinks I'm asking for "lemonade"), but you should've seen what some of the other kids brought! Briana for instance (little cutie in the picture with me) made heart shape cakes for our whole Cheetahs class... with our names on them! And here's my mommy- a trained pastry chef! Meema gave me a bunch of Valentine's Day stories that I brought in to read to everyone. I was very proud of those. So there. :)And it's the thought that counts, right? I made all my little presents with lots o' love.

Anyway, I went home that day with candy than I know what to do with, along with pencils and stickers and art supplies. It was fun. Most of the kids wore red but I didn't because Mama & Meema insist that it "isn't my color." My kids didn't seem to mind that I wasn't as festive as I could've been. Sammie & Briana still fought over me, just like every other day.

I should also mention that I got other presents, too. I know that Meema has some stuff for me, but I haven't see her yet because I spent Valentine's Day with Daddy. He got me the Thomas "Great Discovery" toy I've been coveting! I love it! And Mary and Mystic got me some presents, too. They bought me a stuffed dog that looks just like my "best cute little doggie friend" Mystic, some chocolate candies, stickers and two Speed Racer cars.

I like Valentine's Day a lot. I'm going to enjoy getting all the gifts now because someday I may be buying some special flowers and dinner!

Jolie Angelina

Mama has made a new friend and her name is Cyndi. Cyndi is very nice and just loves kids. She has a son named Angelo who is about to turn 11. A couple of weeks ago, her niece and two nephews were visiting and we had an afternoon of Monster Golf and Fuddruckers. Although, I'm no Tiger Woods, I had a really good time playing with all the kids. There are Michael & Angelina, who are little kids like me and then Cyndi's older nephew, Randyn, who is 14 & mostly does "big kid" things with Angelo. But they're all VERY nice to me.

I had the pleasure of meeting up with them again. This time, we went to the Little Falls Rec Center to watch Angelo's basketball game. Within minutes, I had Doritos that Aunt Cyndi bought me from the vending machine, so I was happy. After Angelo's game (still undefeated- go Rebels!)we went and got lunch and then went to the playground. After we did a TON of swinging, it became apparent that everyone had to use the potty, so we went back to Aunt Cyndi's house and played. Angelo has the coolest toys- Legos, cars, a Wii, cool movies. And I just love Angelina & Michael. In fact, I have referred to Angelina as "my girlfriend" on more than one occassion. (Many apologies to all my other lady friends. What can I say, I'm popular.)

I think this picture is a good indication of how much I had. I hope I get to see them again soon.

Bromance

This is Justin. He is my best friend from school. We used to be in the same class, but he's a bit older than me, so he recently became a Toucan (I'm still a Cheetah.) Imagine how excited I was a few weeks back when Mama took me to his house. I know that Mama thought it would be fun for me, but the truth is, she really likes Justin's mommy, Celina. We had such a great time together; we ate goldfish, played with all of Justin's cool toys (remote control dinosaur anyone?) and watched Dora. And I thought we had fun in school. I'm so happy to have him as a buddy. I even pack extra fruit snacks with me for him. He's the BEST. Bromantic, right?
