Jama-Rama

Today is Pajama Day at school. Mama paid a five dollar donation to the
Leukemia and Lymphona Society for the privilege. Worth every penny! Not only did I get to show off my adorable new Batman jammies (thank you, Grandma!), but I got to support a good cause. When I arrived this morning, Brianna was in kitty pajamas and Robbie was in Diego ones. Miss Alysse was even in big, fuzzy slippers. I heard talk of movies and popcorn, too. What a day! I think Mama, in her jeans, was most jealous!

Comedy

Mama wasn't feeling her best on Saturday. I thought I would cheer her up, so I did the following: after going potty, I took off my pants, took off my Cars undies, put them on my head, put my pants back on (well sort of) and then waddled out in to the living room for her and Aunt Arlene to see.
It definitely got a laugh. Mission accomplished. Aren't I funny?

Uncle Erik is 30!!!

I forgot to mention that one of my bestest pals- Uncle Erik- had a birthday on Wednesday. He's officially 30 years old. Can believe it? Everyone around me is so old. Anyway, we didn't really have that exciting of a celebration as I was at school all day. Usually I'm with Mama on Wednesday nights, but we went back to Daddy's house to have dinner and cupcakes with the birthday boy. I sure do love my "Unkey Ewik." Happy Birthday!
Emo

Today is "Crazy Hair Day" at school. I don't have much to work with (and Mama couldn't stomach the idea of taking me the party store after work last night, in the rain for some crazy color spray), so she went to town with her comb, her mousse and some Aqua Net. I think the results are pretty darn cute. I couldn't wait to show all my friends my "crazy hair." Although, you really wouldn't think I was very excited by the assortment of rather glum and depressed photos Mama took. (Hence the "emo" reference; for those who don't know what that means, so
here. I cheered up when I got there and saw my wacky buddy Brianna (who kept asking Miss Alysse where I was before I arrived this morning- she was eager to see my spiky do, I guess), with all sorts of crazy pigtails.

More Kids, More Fun

Much to my delight, Meema (dressed up as an adorable kitty, just as I asked her to) picked me up from school on Friday. I put my costume back on, picked Mama up at work and then went to Lucy's house for some Halloween fun. It might've been the greatest day of my life.
Not only were my usual pals Lucy, Evie, Daniel, Greta & Sophie there, but I made two new friends- Nate & Thad, twin boys from Lucy's preschool. They have about 6 months on me and they were dressed up as Spider-Man and Batman, respectively, so I took an instant liking to them. It was nice to hang out with some big boys, especially ones that feel the same way about superheroes that I do. (Not to mention, check out this
picture from Lucy's blog. Do I see Lightning McQueen jackets?!?)
It was a blast of night. We went out around Lucy's neighborhood like the cutest little band of Halloween buddies. I could barely contain myself! I spent most of my time trick-or-treating running from house to house with "my kids," totally ignoring M&D. Halloween gets more fun by the year. After we collected our candy, we went back to Lucy's house for some more partying. Us kids were pretty much left to our devices while the parents ate spinach dip and drank wine. Thank goodness for grandparents!
Daddy wanted to take me to see Aunt Lynda & Uncle G, so they got me to leave by promising me some more trick-or-treating back in our neighborhood. I was cool with that, but imagine my disappointment when I realized the "my kids" weren't coming with me. I think I cried the whole way home. But then I got to see Mick dressed in a lobster costume and got even more candy, so all was right with the world again.
Someone give Lifetouch a medal

Now that I've had two great school picture sessions, I think the days of the "baby prison shots" are over. It's sort of sad, actually. Those really were funny.
Even though I'm a lot more agreeable to pictures generally speaking, we have to commend the photographer who takes these school pictures, dontcha think? I hope never tells Mama his secret because that would really take the fun out of it.

Scaring My Kids

On Halloween, we got to wear our costumes to school for our special parade! I may not have previously mentioned, but I refer to my school mates as "my kids;" no one really knows why, but it's my thing. Anyway, when I decided to be The Hulk for Halloween, I made a solemn vow not to scare Mama or Daddy. I could not, however, make this same promise to my schoolmates. On the way over, I was all smiles, very excited about the day. But upon arrival, I got down to business. I think I did the Hulk costume proud. Jude SMASH!
