Merry Christmas and Happy 2008!

Vegas, baby, Vegas! I'm currently in Las Vegas with Gaga visiting all of our family there. I'm hanging with Grandma, Uncle Paul, Uncle Jenny (heehee, I just can't get that one right), Uncle Erik and Izzy and Ava. I'm having a blast to say the least! What a great Christmas! I got to see the Hoover Dam yesterday. Isn't that cool? I've been talking to Mama everyday, telling her about all of my adventures. I know she misses me like CRAZY. But lucky for her, we have lots of great friends and family back home. See you soon, Mama!

God Save the Queen

I think the tartan pants, black tee-shirt and messy hair are very punk rock, don't you? All I need is the safety pin earrings and I'll be all set. Also I decided to apply some make-up, too. Apparently, that's a necessity.

Across the Pond

Although, Lucy moving seemed to be a bit of a false alarm (at least for now), another one of my friends is actually moving away. Cooper (and his M&D, Brenda & Jeremy) are moving to London. Can you believe it? I haven't really played with Cooper than much because by the time Mama met Brenda, she had already gone back to work, thus taking us out of the regular playgroup circuit. However, he's a very cool kid and I was always happy when he was around because, well, I don't know that many boys. And he as an affinity for Lightning McQueen and Spiderman, so he's a kid after my own heart.

In honor of their big move, Sophie's M&D threw a really fun party on Saturday. There were toys and food and cupcakes a plenty. It was basically one of those parties where kids are put in a designated area to make a total mess of and play with each other, while the grown-ups sit upstairs and eat and drink. But that's okay because the companty really was fun. We sure will miss you, Cooper. See you in London!

Cold Pizza

Being a big boy is really great! On Saturday morning, I went right into the refrigerator and helped myself to last night's pizza. Apparently, this is a very popular breakfast choice, but imagine Mama's surprise when she caught me sauntering around noshing away on this piece of sausage pizza. I have to tell you, I was way more into it the next morning than I was the night before at dinnertime. I think my parents should be happy, though. It's very rare that I manage to eat all four food groups at breakfast.

Snowy!

Pretty snow!

On Sunday, we had our first real snow! When I woke up and looked outside I could barely contain my excitement. I like to refer to it as "snowy" and I couldn't get enough to kicking my feet through it and touching it. I hope we get many more snows this winter and that I can do lots of sledding. Of course, it would be nice if my parents would get me some appropriate snow gear first, but we're working on that!

PS- I think Mama wanted me to insert that link in case anyone was looking for Christmas presents for yours truly. 3T or size 10 boots. Too forward? :-)

BGM #2

Baby party!
Originally uploaded by sford929
Not that I was invited or anything, but Lucy's Mommy had a very nice "baby lunch" in honor of Katie and Evie's little sister, who is still baking. Mama calls her BGM #2 (Baby Girl Matias #2) because Evie's M&D are refusing to tell anyone the name; a fact that annoys Mama just a little. (Although, Gaga swears that Uncle Florian told him after a few beers, but since Gaga himself had also had some liquor he can't remember- sigh.)

Anyway, I spent the afternoon with Aunt Arlene, but I heard it was a lovely day filled with lots of wonderful food care of Lucy's Mommy and a cake that my very own Mama helped make. Mama said that Lucy's Mommy is quite the party planner and more importantly, a lovely friend. I can't wait to meet my new playmate. She'll be here in January! Yes!
