"Watch.... TV....?"
Tonight in the bath when Mommy asked me if I wanted to get out, do you know what I said? I said, "Yes. Watch... TV??" Yes, it's true, I enjoy the television as much as any red-blooded American. Before anyone gets worried that I'm destined for a life of ADD and a total lack of imagination, I should mention that my other current favorites activities are drawing, playing music, reading books and Play Doh. But I do love that good ole idiot box. Especially when "Finding Nemo" is on. Can you see Marlin in the background? Man, that crazy fish gets me every time!

Grandma Ginny's Birthday!
Grandma had a doctor's appointment in NY on Monday, so she came to see us for the weekend. Luckily for us all, her birthday was on Sunday. So lucky for HER, she got to celebrate it with yours truly. It's good thing, too. I was very helpful when she tried to blow out the candles. I hope she had a wonderful day with me! Sorry, Grandma, that I was a bit cranky after my nap. It's nothing personal.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Grandma!!!!!!
Also, here's another picture from Grandma's weekend here. We took her to Seaside Heights!

Bouncin'

You know what's fun? Jumping! A few months ago, I masted jumping. I still love to show off my skills on the ground, shouting "1...2...3... JUMP!" before I do so. But I've discovered something even better-- jumping on the couch (or the bed for that matter). Couches are perfect, though, because you have something to hold onto. I could do it for hours! Oh, the bouncy fun! I especially like doing it while Mommy says, "Boingy! Boingy! Boingy!" in the background. It's good motivation to keep going. In recent days, I've started to get fancy. I sometimes move my butt side to side in a twist-like motion or move my little feet like I'm dancing. Pretty fly moves. I bet you're wondering why I took the couch cushion off in this particular instance, but it's all part of my technique. As a toddler, I reserve the right to not be questioned on my motivations.

My Mimi

If only there were a "Pacifier Users Anonymous." There are a lot of people that believe that pacis are for infants only. Here I am, two years old-- a big boy, if you will-- and I'm still addicted. I like them sooo much, I even have my own name for them- mimi. I can often be found wandering around the apartment saying, "Are you, mimi?" or snapping, "My mimi!!" when someone tries to take it away. At school, they're very adamant about me quitting. I can't move up into the next class if I have one. So I don't really have it all day during the week. But, my parents are softies. Hee hee. Let's hope they don't toughen up on me. Note from Mommy: she's about to toughen up. :-)
Here I am trying to get Elmo to enjoy a mimi as well. I don't think he appreciates them as I do, though. Silly stuffed doll. What does he know?
Pee-pa and Gaga

Last Saturday, in celebration of Father's Day and Grandpa Robo's birthday, Mommy took me upstate to see him and Marion. I get very excited to see "Pee-pa" because he's just so much fun. We watched movies, read books, had tickle fights and he even took me to Toys R Us to get some new toys! I got some really, really cool Matchbox cars, a set with cars, boats and trains AND some Play Doh. I'm having a blast with all of it! Here I am helping Pee-pa get the grill going. I was a pretty big help with the steaks... although it was a bit too tough for this 12-toothed baby to eat. I love you, Pee-pa!!

Then, on Sunday, I got to have a nice Father's Day with Gaga. Here we are in the morning, playing with my new Play Doh. Gaga is so funny. He taught me how to make things and then squish them! He kept making me really cool animals and then we would squash them and giggle! It was hysterical. It was a beautiful day, so we also hit the park. We put on our matching camo shorts and Irish tee-shirts for the occassion! We played on the playground and ran around all around until we ran out of water. It was a fun time. We even got some Italian ice. Now if that's not fun, I don't know what is. Love you, Gaga!
Jude's Got the Blues

Actually, I haven't decided if I'm going to use my new found talent to sing the blues or perhaps start my folk music career. Something tells me that's a long way off. But in the meantime, it's practice, practice, practice. I bet Bob Dylan wasn't even this young when he started. Look out, music world!

Special thanks to Mee-ma for providing me with this, along with some other musical instruments. If the harmonica doesn't work out, perhaps I'll try and make a career out of tamborine playing. But look, even Grandpa Robo thinks it's fun!!

TWO YEARS OLD!!

I turned two last Saturday! Isn't that so exciting? I just can't believe I'm two years old already. The time sure is flying. I had a very nice birthday! Here I am on my new tricycle. I like it very much, although I'm still trying to figure out how to pedal. I'll get there, though. :-)
My birthday was very fun. In the morning, Mee-ma came down and she and Mommy took me out to lunch and to the playground. Mee-ma bought me a table for my birthday, but she also bought me some musical instrument and some cool clothes. We went to the Cloverleaf for lunch and I had an Elmo cupcake! So fun! We didn't really do that much the rest of the day because Gaga was so sick. But it sure is exciting to have another birthday!

Here I am rocking out on my new harmonica. I gotta tell you-- I'm pretty darn good!
